Peace Be Still
In the midst
Of all the chaos and rush
Of daily life,
There is a constant need
For peace.
Without peace,
The mind could go crazy.
Life seems lifeless.
Unhappy faces are seen everywhere.
Peace be still.
Smile a while.
Take a break and relax.
Think things over,
One step at a time…
Do your best.
Trust God to lead you
To your place of success.

Be the one to fight for the right.
Even when the “good” world around us seems to be caving in,
There comes a nuisance creeping along
To punch a hole
And make a wrong.
Be not fearful!
Trying is the sound of making an effort.
Let your living be more than a trial.
Do give your all, 110% of the time!
The soul still aches for a push
When the crashing feelings seem to crumble one’s mind and body.
Don’t be allowed to fall in despair.
Choose yourself.
I choose me.
As tough as it may be,
To take up the challenge;
To be the one to make a difference.

From all the growing changes.
From all the aches of the past.
From all the joys and scares of now.
From all the hopes of a greater and fulfilling tomorrow.
Call me back to here and now;
In preparation for forever and always.
Show me.
Help in making a reality we need right now.
For tomorrow.
Breathe a fresh breath.
Speak a new word.
To clear my mind
From its growing rivers of words.
I wonder if tomorrow will find me peaceful
And more at ease.
My mind calls for help.
The chaotic thoughts of the past beg to come back home.
But this “home” has been reclaimed…
It calls to freedom to move on;
Into a greater tomorrow.
